R. 10167 To designate the medical center of the Department of Veterans Affairs in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as the James Mountain Inhofe VA Medical Center. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES November 19, 2024 Mr. Hern (for himself, Mr. Cole, Mr. Lucas, Mrs. Bice, and Mr. Brecheen) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Veterans' Affairs _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To designate the medical center of the Department of Veterans Affairs in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as the James Mountain Inhofe VA Medical Center. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``____ Act of 2024''. SEC. 2. DESIGNATION OF JAMES MOUNTAIN INHOFE VA MEDICAL CENTER. (a) Designation.--The medical center of the Department of Veterans Affairs under construction as of the date of the enactment of this Act at 440 South Houston Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma, shall after such date of enactment be known and designated as the ``James Mountain Inhofe Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center'' or the ``James Mountain Inhofe VA Medical Center''. (b) References.--Any reference in any law, regulation, map, document, paper, or other record of the United States to the medical center referred to in subsection (a) shall be considered to be a reference to the James Mountain Inhofe VA Medical Center. <all>
