Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. AUTHORITY TO CONTRIBUTE TO INNOVATION FUND. Subchapter II of chapter 138 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new section: ``Sec. 2350s. Authority to contribute to innovation fund ``(a) Authority To Contribute to Nato Innovation Fund.--Within amounts authorized by law for such purpose during the 10-year period following the date of the enactment of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025, the Secretary of Defense may contribute to the NATO Innovation Fund a total amount of no more than $200,000,000. ``(b) Definitions.--In this section: ``(1) The term `NATO' means the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. ``(2) The term `NATO Innovation Fund' means the multi- sovereign, investment venture capital fund of NATO that provides secure investment in dual-use, high-impact technology.''. <all>
