R. 3506 To amend the Department of Agriculture Reorganization Act of 1994 to reauthorize the Healthy Food Financing Initiative, and for other purposes. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES May 20, 2025 Ms. Brown (for herself and Mr. Evans of Pennsylvania) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Agriculture _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To amend the Department of Agriculture Reorganization Act of 1994 to reauthorize the Healthy Food Financing Initiative, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Healthy Food Financing Initiative Reauthorization Act of 2025''. SEC. 2. REAUTHORIZATION OF HEALTHY FOOD FINANCING INITIATIVE. Section 243(d) of the Department of Agriculture Reorganization Act of 1994 (7 U.S.C. 6953(d)) is amended to read as follows: ``(d) Mandatory Funding.--Of the funds of the Commodity Credit Corporation, the Secretary shall use to carry out this section-- ``(1) $25,000,000 for fiscal year 2026 ``(2) $30,000,000 for fiscal year 2027; ``(3) $35,000,000 for fiscal year 2028; ``(4) $40,000,000 for fiscal year 2029; and ``(5) $50,000,000 for fiscal year 2030 and each fiscal year thereafter.''. <all>
