R. 4172 To abolish the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations within the Department of Energy, and for other purposes. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES June 26, 2025 Mr. Gill of Texas (for himself, Mr. Roy, Mr. Harris of Maryland, Mr. Perry, Mr. Steube, Mr. Self, and Ms. Greene of Georgia) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To abolish the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations within the Department of Energy, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``OCED Elimination Act''. SEC. 2. ABOLISHMENT OF OCED. The Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations within the Department of Energy is hereby abolished. SEC. 3. REPEAL OF OCED PROVISIONS. Section 41201 of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (42 U.S.C. 18861) is repealed. <all>
