Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. HOV FACILITIES. (a) In General.--Section 166(b)(5)(A) of title 23, United States Code, is amended by striking ``September 30, 2025'' and inserting ``December 31, 2026''. (b) Study.--Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Transportation shall submit to Congress a report that contains the results of a study on the effectiveness of electric vehicle exemptions in reducing traffic congestion. <all>
