R. 5598 To extend and increase funding for the Rural Economic Development Loan and Grant Program of the Department of Agriculture, and for other purposes. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES September 26, 2025 Mr. Nunn of Iowa (for himself and Mr. Davis of North Carolina) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Agriculture _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To extend and increase funding for the Rural Economic Development Loan and Grant Program of the Department of Agriculture, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Revitalizing Rural Communities Act of 2025''. SEC. 2. EXTENSION OF, AND INCREASE IN FUNDING FOR, THE RURAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT LOAN AND GRANT PROGRAM. Section 313B of the Rural Electrification Act of 1936 (7 U.S.C. 940c-2) is amended by striking ``$10,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2019 through 2023'' and inserting ``$12,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030''. <all>
