the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on 
Transportation and Infrastructure

A BILL

To amend section 47109 of title 49, United States Code, to update the 
requirements to qualify for the special rule relating to project costs 
for airports in economically distressed communities, and for other 
purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ``Territories Airport Support Act of 
2025'' or the ``TASA Act of 2025''.

SEC. 2. UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT'S SHARE OF PROJECT COSTS.

Section 47109(f) of title 49, United States Code, is amended by 
striking paragraph (1) and inserting the following:
``(1) is--
``(A) receiving essential air service for which 
compensation was provided to an air carrier under 
subchapter II of chapter 417; or
``(B) located in a territory of the United States 
and was an eligible point under section 419 of the 
Federal Aviation Act of 1958 on October 24, 1978; 
and''.
