Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``No Funds for NATO Invasion Act''. SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON INVASION OF NATO TERRITORY. (a) Prohibition on Funding.--No Federal funds are authorized to be appropriated or otherwise made available for the invasion of-- (1) a country that is a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization; or (2) any territory to which Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty (commonly known as the ``Washington Treaty'') applies, including territory described in Article 6 of such treaty. (b) Prohibition on Invasion.--No officer or employee of the United States may take any action to execute an invasion by the United States of a country or territory described in subsection (a). <all>
