A BILL

To prohibit the use of Federal funds to compensate individuals who were 
prosecuted for their involvement in the attack on the United States 
Capitol on January 6, 2021, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ``No Rewards for January 6 Rioters 
Act''.

SEC. 2. LIMITATIONS ON USES OF FEDERAL FUNDS.

(a) Prohibition on Use of Federal Funds.--Notwithstanding any other 
provision of law, no Federal funds, including funds appropriated under 
section 1304 of title 31, United States Code (commonly known as the 
``Judgment Fund''), or any victim compensation fund, may be used to 
compensate any individual prosecuted for involvement in the attack on 
the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021, including any individual 
so prosecuted and subsequently pardoned.
(b) Prohibition on the Establishment of a Compensation Fund.--No 
compensation fund shall be established for the purpose of compensating 
individuals described in subsection (a).

SEC. 3. RESTITUTION AND FINES NOT TO BE REFUNDED.

(a) In General.--Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no 
funds shall be disbursed from the United States Treasury to refund any 
court-ordered compensation, including restitution, fines, or special 
assessments, paid by any individual convicted for involvement in the 
attack on the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021, including any 
individual so convicted and subsequently pardoned.
(b) Transfer to AOC.--The Secretary of the Treasury shall transfer 
any amounts described in subsection (a) to the Architect of the 
Capitol.
