Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, and in addition to the 
Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, for a period to be 
subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration 
of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee 
concerned

A BILL

To require the Secretary of Transportation and the Director of the 
National Weather Service to establish an interagency working group to 
develop best practices for roadway management, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ``Roadway Resiliency Act''.

SEC. 2. INTERAGENCY WORKING GROUP ON ROADWAY MANAGEMENT IN INCLEMENT 
WEATHER.

(a) In General.--Not later than 180 days after the date of 
enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Transportation and the Director 
of the National Weather Service shall establish an interagency working 
group to develop best practices for roadway management in inclement 
weather.
(b) Submission to Congress.--Not later than 180 days after the date 
on which the best practices required under subsection (a) are 
established, the Secretary and the Director shall submit such best 
practices to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the 
House of Representatives and the Committee on Commerce, Science, and 
Transportation of the Senate.
