A BILL
To amend title 49, United States Code, to repeal public transportation fixed guideway capital investment grants, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``No CIG Act''.
SEC. 2. FIXED GUIDEWAY CAPITAL INVESTMENT GRANTS.
(a) In General.--Section 5309 of title 49, United States Code, and the item relating to such section in the analysis for chapter 53 of such title, are repealed.
(b) Conforming Amendments.--Section 5338 of title 49, United States Code, is amended--
(1) by repealing subsection (b); and
(2) in paragraph (1)--
(A) by striking subparagraph (C); and
(B) by redesignating subparagraph (D) as subparagraph (C). <all>
