which was referred to the Committee on Transportation and

A BILL

To amend the Railroad Retirement Act of 1974 to eliminate certain 
deductions for annuities under the Act.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ``Railroad Retirement Fairness Act''.

SEC. 2. ELIMINATING CERTAIN DEDUCTIONS FOR ANNUITIES UNDER THE RAILROAD 
RETIREMENT ACT OF 1974.

Section 2(f) of the Railroad Retirement Act of 1974 (45 U.S.C. 
231a(f)) is amended by striking subdivision (6).
