R. 8537 To authorize the construction of a ballroom on the grounds of the White House, and for other purposes. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES April 28, 2026 Ms. Boebert (for herself and Mr. Griffith) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and in addition to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To authorize the construction of a ballroom on the grounds of the White House, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Tactical Revitalization and Upgrade of Modern Presidential Ballroom Act'' or the ``TRUMP Ballroom Act''. SEC. 2. AUTHORIZATION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF BALLROOM ON WHITE HOUSE GROUNDS. (a) Authorization.--Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the President may design and construct a ballroom facility on the grounds of the White House. (b) Approval Authority.--The President shall have sole design and approval authority for the ballroom facility described in subsection (a). <all>
