RES. 1102 Removing Representative Tony Gonzalez of Texas from certain standing committees of the House of Representatives. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES March 4, 2026 Mrs. Luna submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Ethics _______________________________________________________________________ RESOLUTION Removing Representative Tony Gonzalez of Texas from certain standing committees of the House of Representatives. Whereas clause 1 of rule XXIII of the Rules of the House of Representatives provides, ``A Member, Delegate, Resident Commissioner, officer, or employee of the House shall behave at all times in a manner that shall reflect creditably on the House.''; and Whereas Representative Tony Gonzalez should be removed from his committee assignments in light of conduct he has exhibited: Now, therefore, be it Resolved, That the following named Member be, and is hereby, removed from the following standing committees of the House of Representatives: Committee on Appropriations: Mr. Tony Gonzales of Texas. Committee on Homeland Security: Mr. Tony Gonzales of Texas. <all>
