Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Make Congress Drive Union Made Act''. SEC. 2. REPRESENTATIONAL ALLOWANCE FOR MEMBERS OF HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. (a) In General.--Section 101 of the House of Representatives Administrative Reform Technical Corrections Act (2 U.S.C. 5341) is amended-- (1) by redesignating subsections (c), (d), and (e) as subsections (d), (e), and (f), respectively; and (2) by inserting after subsection (b) the following new subsection: ``(c) Restrictions on Motor Vehicles.--The funds from the Members' Representational Allowance may not be used to purchase or lease a motor vehicle unless the motor vehicle-- ``(1) has a final assembly place (as such term is defined in section 32304 of title 49, United States Code) in the United States; and ``(2) is assembled by employees who are covered by a collective bargaining agreement.''. (b) Effective Date.--The amendments made by this section shall take effect on October 1, 2026. SEC. 3. SENATORS' OFFICIAL PERSONNEL AND OFFICE EXPENSE ACCOUNTS. Subsection (a) of the first section of Public Law 100-137 (2 U.S.C. 6313) is amended by adding at the end the following: ``(7) Effective on and after October 1, 2026, the funds from the Senators' Account may not be used to purchase or lease a motor vehicle unless the motor vehicle-- ``(A) has a final assembly place (as such term is defined in section 32304 of title 49, United States Code) in the United States; and ``(B) is assembled by employees who are covered by a collective bargaining agreement.''. <all>
