Ms. Cortez Masto introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship

A BILL
To include smoke in the definition of disaster in the Small Business Act, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Small Business Wildfire Smoke Recovery Act''.
SEC. 2. DEFINITION OF DISASTER.
Section 3(k)(2) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 632(k)(2)) is amended--
(1) in subparagraph (B), by striking ``and'' at the end;
(2) in subparagraph (C), by striking the period at the end and inserting ``; and''; and
(3) by adding at the end the following:
``(D) smoke.''. <all>
