RES. 784 Prohibiting the buying or selling of certain investments by Senators. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES June 23, 2026 Mr. Ossoff submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Rules and Administration _______________________________________________________________________ RESOLUTION Prohibiting the buying or selling of certain investments by Senators. Resolved, SECTION 1. PROHIBITION ON BUYING OR SELLING OF CERTAIN INVESTMENTS BY SENATORS. Rule XXXVII of the Standing Rules of the Senate is amended-- (1) by redesignating paragraph 16 as paragraph 17; and (2) by inserting after paragraph 15 the following: ``16. Effective January 1, 2027, no Senator may buy or sell a publicly traded stock or cryptocurrency.''. <all>
