No one-gun-a-month legislation was enacted during Biden's term (Jan 2021-Jan 2025), and the White House did not include a monthly purchase limit among its gun-policy requests to Congress. Its published asks, restated in the April 7, 2021 and March 14, 2023 fact sheets, covered assault weapons and high-capacity magazine bans, universal background checks, safe storage, and repealing gun-manufacturer liability immunity, but omitted purchase-frequency limits. The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (June 25, 2022), the term's one major gun law, contained no such provision, and the administration never otherwise advanced the proposal.
