Adversarial re-check: all three sources cited by the prior rater are real, live, and quoted accurately, and I verified two additional primary day-one actions. HALF ONE (terminate Biden's open-border policies on day one) is verifiably and fully delivered: on January 20, 2025 Trump personally signed EO 'Securing Our Borders' (ends catch-and-release, terminates CBP One parole, resumes Migrant Protection Protocols), the proclamation 'Declaring a National Emergency at the Southern Border' (military deployment, barrier construction), and EO 'Protecting the American People Against Invasion' (revokes prior enforcement-priority limits, expands expedited removal at the Secretary's 'sole and unreviewable discretion', directs detention buildout and nationwide Homeland Security Task Forces). The measured result is unambiguous: Pew, using CBP data, records 237,538 Border Patrol encounters in FY2025 and fewer than 10,000 per month in every month from February 2025 through December 2025 — the lowest in over 50 years. HALF TWO (begin the LARGEST domestic deportation operation in American history) was genuinely launched and personally driven by him, but the superlative is not substantiated by nonpartisan data: TRAC counts 290,603 ICE removals from January 26 to November 15, 2025, which it states is 'just 7 percent more than were removed in FY 2024' (271,484) under Biden. FAIRNESS TEST: a president of either party who signed the operative orders himself on day one, fully delivered one half of a two-part promise with dramatic measurable effect, and launched but did not demonstrably achieve the record-setting second half, earns CHAMPIONED (+0.75) — he LED and drove the effort, which is more than ATTEMPTED and more than a bare PARTIAL, but FULL (+1.0) is not supportable while the promise's own 'largest in American history' benchmark remains unmet on the removal data. CORRECTIONS TO THE PRIOR RATIONALE: three decorative statistics in it could not be substantiated in this pass and are dropped rather than repeated — the 'roughly 1,264/day' ICE arrest average, the 'record detention population' claim, and the comparison to 'Obama's single-year ICE peak'. None of them were load-bearing; the outcome is unchanged and rests on the five verified sources below.
