Trump did not rescind Biden's March 14, 2023 firearms executive order (EO 14092) on day one: his January 20, 2025 rescission order did not include it, and Federal Register records show no revocation of EO 14092 through July 2, 2026. Instead, on February 7, 2025 he signed EO 14206 directing the Attorney General to review all 2021-2025 federal firearms actions, and his DOJ and ATF subsequently repealed key implementing policies, including the enhanced regulatory enforcement policy on April 7, 2025. The substance of the Biden gun agenda has largely been reversed administratively, but the specific promised act - revoking the executive order on day one - did not occur.
