Senate Roll Call 117-2-242 (S. 2938, Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, June 23, 2022) records 'Crapo (R-ID), Nay' on a 65-33 motion to concur; that law contained the enhanced-review purchase delay for under-21 buyers, i.e. the closest thing to a federal waiting period enacted in his tenure, and he opposed it. Confidence held at 0.88 rather than higher because roll-call review covered the major firearms measures of his Senate service (1999-present) rather than every ancillary amendment, and because an ongoing negative pledge remains open to future contradiction.
