All three cited sources are reachable and, taken together, support FULL compliance with Murphy's pledge to refuse corporate and PAC money for his 2024 Senate campaign, though two of the FEC-source descriptions have fidelity problems. (1) FEC candidate totals (S2CT00132, 2024) confirm the load-bearing facts in BOTH the rating's reading and my live fetch: Political Party Committee Contributions = $0.00 and the "other political committee" (PAC) line is a tiny fraction of receipts (under 0.5%), with individuals overwhelmingly dominant. However, the rating's exact quoted figures ($14,667,101.68 individual / $62,525 PAC / $15,318,771.16 total) do NOT match the live API, which returns $12,056,273.92 individual / $54,025.00 PAC / $0 party / $12,786,118.05 total — most likely an election_full-aggregation or point-in-time difference. The direction and conclusion are identical either way. (2) The Schedule A fetch confirms prominent joint-fundraising-committee transfers (Connecticut Senate Victory 2024, PA-CT Senate Victory, Chris Murphy Victory Fund, Blue Senate 2024, Majority 2024), but also surfaces organizational/LLC contributors (Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, Spanish American Merchants Association, Aisle 518 Strategies LLC), so the rating's categorical "no corporate…appear" is slightly overstated — though none are registered corporate PACs. (3) The Facebook statement is verified GENUINE: an independent web search returned the same post as its top result with the exact quote in the title, "I don't take PAC contributions, I don't take corporate contributions, I only take contributions from individuals" (Aug 12, 2024) — not fabricated. Independent trackers (OpenSecrets, Roll Call) corroborate that Murphy is on the no-corporate-PAC list and confirm the JFC-passthrough pattern the rating relies on. FULL (not CHAMPIONED) is correctly assigned because the promise concerns his own campaign's fundraising, not leadership of a reform effort. Confidence held at 0.72 (below the rating's 0.82) because Source 1's specific dollar figures don't reproduce and Source 2 mildly overstates the composition of non-individual contributors.
