(3) Adversarial test on the outcome: I checked her own Senate newsroom three ways (site search for 'child tax credit', site search for 'American Family Act', and the press-release index through July 2026) and found ZERO press releases, statements, or floor remarks on the Child Tax Credit in roughly 18 months in office. That is genuinely unfavorable to the 'vocal advocate' element and rules out CHAMPIONED: she did not lead, sponsor, or drive the effort - Bennet did, and she is one of ~44 Democratic cosponsors who joined on introduction day.
