Both cited sources are reachable and both directly support the MISALIGNED outcome, with the quotes appearing verbatim. Washington Examiner (June 3, 2026) confirms the reversal quote word-for-word: "One thing I was absolutely wrong on … is that in my cycle in '22, we were running to eliminate the filibuster. And we were so wrong, so wrong about that," and adds that Fetterman said the "entire Democratic Party was wrong" to push to eliminate the rule. The Philadelphia Inquirer (Oct 21, 2025) confirms the underlying 2022 promise verbatim: "When I ran for Senate, everyone, including myself, said we've got to get rid of the filibuster."
