CHAMPIONED is upheld. Two of the three cited PRIMARY sources verify cleanly with verbatim quotes and directly document Johnson personally leading the promised accountability effort aimed at Fauci and Collins. (1) The Jan 28/29 2025 Senate.gov release confirms Johnson, as Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations chairman, subpoenaed HHS for COVID-19 vaccine-safety records and a subset of Dr. Fauci's withheld emails; the quoted sentence appears verbatim. (2) The June 15 2021 Lankford release confirms Johnson co-signed a letter to NIH Director Collins demanding records on the pandemic's handling; the quoted sentence appears verbatim and the letter references Fauci emails. These are leadership actions well beyond voting, sustained from weeks after the 2021 promise through 2025. CHAMPIONED rather than FULL is correct because the ultimate 'honest and complete answers' were never delivered (invitations declined, records withheld). Caveat: the third source (congress.gov S.Hrg. 118-355, 'Origins of COVID-19: An Examination of Available Evidence,' HSGAC, June 18 2024) is a real hearing and the quoted title is accurate, but it does NOT establish that Johnson chaired or drove it — HSGAC in the 118th Congress was chaired by Gary Peters, with Rand Paul as the minority lead on COVID origins. The rationale's claim that Johnson 'chaired HSGAC hearings on COVID origins (2024)' is therefore an overstatement. However, that source is contextual, not the basis of the outcome, so the CHAMPIONED finding stands on sources 1 and 2.
