Independently verified: Christina Bohannan has never held federal office. The House Clerk's official member record confirms Iowa's 1st Congressional District seat is held by Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R), whose oath of office is dated January 3, 2025. Wikipedia confirms Bohannan's only elected office was the Iowa House of Representatives (state legislature, 85th district, 2021-2023), and that she lost federal races in 2022, 2024, and 2026. The promise is federal in scope (codifying Roe v. Wade requires an act of Congress); without a seat in Congress she has had no genuine opportunity to introduce, cosponsor, or vote on such legislation. NO_OPPORTUNITY is the correct nonpartisan rating and would apply equally to any candidate of any party who has never held federal office. Both cited sources are real and load; the outcome standard is applied even-handedly.
