Verified via clerk.house.gov Roll Call 102 (April 10, 2025): Mackenzie voted Yea on H.R. 22 (SAVE Act, 220-208), which addresses the 'prohibit noncitizen voting' prong by requiring documentary proof of citizenship for federal voter registration. However: (1) the SAVE Act passed only the House and has not been enacted into law (Senate has not passed it) — so nothing has actually been 'kept'; (2) it addresses only 1 of the promise's 4 prongs (nothing on voter ID, unsecured drop-box bans, or ballot harvesting); (3) Mackenzie was one of 216 Republicans voting Yea, not a sponsor/champion; (4) as a U.S. Representative he lacks direct authority over PA state election law where drop boxes and harvesting would be regulated.
