Assessments
evidence-backed verdictsThese are sourced verdicts from fact-checkers or community evidence reviews — not opinions.
Independently verified: (1) clerk.house.gov Roll Call 153 (June 5, 2025) confirms Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (PA-7) voted Yea on H.R. 2931 'Save SBA from Sanctuary Cities Act' (passed House 211-199); (2) Mackenzie's own house.gov 'Your View' piece lists 'abolishes sanctuary cities' as a stated priority. He is not the lead sponsor of H.R. 2931 or H.R. 32 and neither has been enacted, so this is a genuine legislative attempt/advance rather than CHAMPIONED or FULL. The H.R. 32 cosponsorship claim could not be independently re-verified today (Congress.gov returning 403), but the verified Yea vote alone supports ATTEMPTED under the same standard applied to any party.
